The story behind MyVAClaim.AI
COLEPATECH’s Co-Founder, a U.S. Navy Gulf War Veteran, turned to AI to review his medical and military records. It helped him uncover details and interpret entries that his VA representatives had overlooked. By building timelines, connecting documented medical conditions to VA regulations, and organizing the evidence needed for his claims, he used those findings to help secure a 100% VA disability rating.
He wanted other Veterans to have that same opportunity without having to learn AI tools. MyVAClaim.AI gives them a way to look more closely at their own records and prepare their claims with a better understanding of what those records contain.
Why this matters now
As the VA brings more AI into claims processing, Veterans should have access to tools that help them prepare.
The VA’s published strategy describes hiring AI specialists, using AI to extract information from disability claims documents, and plans for wider automation, including preliminary adjudication.

The Co-Founder from Maidenhair brings more than three decades of software experience, including CTO-level leadership in enterprise systems and biomedical informatics in an academic medical setting. His work spans AI and machine learning, software architecture, and the integration of complex data systems.
